About Us
Hi! We're Mike and Melissa, owners and creators of Jack's Taco Shack, a southwest style mobile taco business currently based in New Braunfels, Texas.

Having spent most of our careers in the food and beverage & catering industries, naturally, we share a love for good food. We met in Sedona, AZ and began dating in 2018. Shortly thereafter, we took our first trip to Austin, Texas, and fell in love with the food truck scene.

Inspired by our favorite restaurants and food trucks and the hundreds of tacos we consumed, we thought it would be fun to create our own recipes and dreamed of opening a taco shack on a beach in Hawaii.

Fast forward to April 2020, in the midst of a "pandemic," we found ourselves furloughed from our corporate jobs and with a whole lot of time on our hands. We joined up with our neighborhood farmer's market near Sedona, and with a camp stove and a pop up tent, we started Jack's Taco Shack. We worked hard to build our own food trailer, perfecting our best recipes while moving to the great state of Texas. Full circle.
We are excited to share our love and passion for creating delicious, flavorful, southwest - style gourmet tacos we know you will love. We hope to serve you soon.

We offer delicious gourmet taco buffets for any type of social event, from weddings & birthday parties to corporate events, retirement parties or anything in between! Your guests will love our flavorful southwest style smoked meats, fresh salsas, guacamole, salads and side dishes. We use the freshest ingredients to create amazing flavorful food everyone will love. We offer full service catering or drop off services, or pre-ordered curbside (food truck style) service.
